I mean I knew about The Fault in Our Stars and Paper Towns but I wasn’t really fond of that novels.Īnd going back to the time I was reading this book, not only I was moved by the story. So long story short, I already knew the ending before I could even open the book.īack on track, to be honest I wasn’t really a fan of John Green. And you know what happened next? A friend of mine told me that the lead girl had died. So, the story began like this, after I bought the book, I made sure to let my other friends to see the book I bought. I know you ain’t here for that but, you can’t do anything about it though. So, a little background of how I got to finish this book is somehow, a little bit absurd. She pulls Pudge into her world, launches him into the Great Perhaps, and steals his heart. The gorgeous, clever, funny, sexy, self-destructive, screwed up, and utterly fascinating Alaska Young. He heads off to the sometimes crazy and anything-but-boring world of Culver Creek Boarding School, and his life becomes the opposite of safe. His whole life has been one big non-event, and his obsession with famous last words has only made him crave “the Great Perhaps” even more (Francois Rabelais, poet). Before. Miles “Pudge” Halter is done with his safe life at home.
